Jack Scaife
History
The family run business, originally based near Keighley
was renamed ‘Cranswick Gourmet Bacon Company’
following it's acquisition. It has recently moved to
new premises at Waterfoot in Lancashire.
The name and brand Jack Scaife, however, will remain
for the future and will continue to be used by some
leading retailers who remain committed to the respected
brand.
The Waterfoot factory incorporates some of the most
modern machinery and equipment including a new smoker
that will use traditional smoking methods, providing
a truly authentic oak or beechwood smoked flavour. |

Products
have the benefit of not shrinking when cooked, since moisture
has already been removed in the dry curing process. Nothing
further is added or injected. “No
nasty white bits,
No disappearing act,
Just Bacon as it used to taste” |
