Sainsbury's Taste The Difference Spiced Ham Wins Grocer Own Label Excellence Award

Cranswick are delighted to win another award at the Grocer Own Label Excellence Awards.  The Traditional Spiced Ham made for the Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference range was awarded a winner in the delicatessen meat category at the awards ceremony held on 12th May 2009 at The Hurlingham Club, London.

The ham first passed a consumer panel before going through to a second round of judging by a group of industry experts including Master Chef’s Gregg Wallace.
The ham is cured and infused with festive spices before being slowly cooked and roasted on the bone. It was developed from an original handwritten Sainsbury’s recipe from the 1930’s!
